“She’s not good enough.”
“How so?”
“Not graceful enough.”
“Again with this?”
“Yes.”
“You know she is a good catch, right? In fact she’s amazing.”
“She is not, she lacks grace.”
“What is with you and grace? Why do you look for it so badly?”
“There is no shortage of malice in this world, no shortage of sorrow and ugliness. In this world full of pain and suffering, I would like grace to be there for me.”
“Even if I go along with this logic of yours, how is it fair that when you finally meet her that you are the one that gets to keep her?”
“It isn’t fair and that is a pity.”
“Aren’t we feeling a little full of ourselves today?”
“We are but that is okay.”
